Terms of Use – MuslimCal: Muslim Calorie Fasting Tracker

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the MuslimCal mobile application ("MuslimCal", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Application.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Application complies with all applicable local laws and regulations.

2. Description of Services

MuslimCal provides personal wellness and lifestyle tools designed for Muslim users, including but not limited to:

• Fasting tracking and Ramadan progress monitoring;
• Calorie tracking and nutrition logging;
• Hydration tracking;
• Food image analysis and nutritional estimation;
• Qibla direction and Azkar tools;
• Subscription-based premium features.

The Application is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. No Medical or Religious Advice

MuslimCal provides informational and tracking tools only. The Application does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or religious rulings (fatwas).

You should consult a licensed healthcare professional before making significant dietary, fasting, or hydration decisions. For religious matters, you should consult qualified religious scholars.

All health, nutrition, and fasting decisions made using this Application are solely your responsibility.

4. AI & Food Analysis Disclaimer

The food scanner and image analysis features use automated AI-based systems to estimate calorie and nutrition information.

• Results are generated automatically and may not be 100% accurate.
• The Application does not guarantee nutritional precision.
• The Application does not provide halal certification or legally binding verification.

You are responsible for independently verifying food ingredients, nutritional values, and halal compliance.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of MuslimCal may require a paid subscription. All payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You may manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• We do not store or process payment card details directly.

RevenueCat may be used to validate and manage subscription status.

6. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MuslimCal for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application;
• Modify, copy, or redistribute any part of the Application;
• Use the Application for commercial exploitation;
• Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when entering fasting, calorie, or weight data;
• Use the Application lawfully and respectfully;
• Not misuse the food scanner or attempt to overload AI processing systems;
• Not attempt unauthorized access to the Application or related systems.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Application will be uninterrupted or error-free;
• All nutritional calculations will be fully accurate;
• The Application will meet your personal expectations or health goals.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuslimCal and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Application;
• Health or dietary decisions made based on app information;
• Reliance on AI-generated food analysis;
• Subscription or billing disputes handled by Apple.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Application in the previous 12 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Application if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your license to use the Application immediately ceases.

11. Third-Party Services

The Application may rely on third-party services such as Apple, Firebase, AI processing providers, and RevenueCat. We are not responsible for the independent practices of these third parties.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Application is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
