Privacy Policy — Signafy

1. Acceptance of Terms

Signafy (“Signafy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to Signafy and its various versions and is part of our Terms of Use. By accessing or using our Application, you acknowledge and fully understand this Privacy Policy and freely consent to the practices described here.

None of the data collected by this app is linked to your identity. You do not need an account to use Signafy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data, none of which is linked to your identity:

User Content

Text you enter — Used for App Functionality

When you use the AI signature Create feature, the text you provide (such as the name to sign) and your style choices are sent to our AI provider to generate signature images. This text is used solely to fulfil your request and is not used to identify you.

Signature images — Used for App Functionality

When you scan a photo of a handwritten signature, the image is first processed on your device to remove the background. If on-device processing can’t cleanly extract your signature (for example, a dark photo or a busy background), the photo can be sent — only with your consent — to our AI provider for one-time processing. It is used solely to extract your signature, and it is not stored or retained on our servers or by the AI provider. Signatures you save are stored locally on your device; we do not keep a copy.

Identifiers

Device ID — Used for Analytics, and Other Purposes

An anonymous device identifier is collected to ensure secure and reliable AI service routing. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity.

Purchases

Purchase History — Used for App Functionality, and Analytics

If you make in-app purchases, transaction data is processed by Apple and RevenueCat to manage your subscription. This data is used to provide access to premium features and to analyze purchasing trends in aggregate.

Usage Data

Product Interaction — Used for Analytics

We collect anonymous data about how you interact with the app (e.g., screens viewed, features used) through Firebase Analytics. This helps us understand how the app is used and identify areas for improvement.

Diagnostics

Crash Data — Used for App Functionality

Crash reports are collected through Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix issues that affect app stability.

Other Diagnostic Data — Used for App Functionality, and Analytics

Additional diagnostic information (e.g., performance metrics, error logs) may be collected to monitor app health and improve reliability.

Other Data

Other Data Types — Used for Other Purposes, and Analytics

Anonymous service data, including IP address, is collected to ensure secure and safe AI service routing.

3. No Face or Biometric Data

Signafy works with signatures, not faces. The app does not collect, store, extract, or analyze any face data, biometric identifiers, or facial geometry. Photos you scan are treated as whole images for the sole purpose of isolating your signature from its background — whether that happens on your device or, with your consent, during one-time AI processing. Signafy performs no facial recognition, biometric identification, or profiling of any kind.

4. How We Process Your Content

• AI generation (on our AI provider): The text you enter for the Create feature — and, if you consent, a scanned photo that needs extra cleanup — is sent to our third-party AI provider, OpenRouter, Inc., to generate signature images. It is used only for temporary processing to produce your result and is not retained or reused.
• Scanning (on your device first): Photos you scan are processed locally on your device to remove the background. Only if local processing isn’t enough — and only with your consent — is the photo sent to our AI provider for one-time cleanup.
• No storage of your signatures: Signatures you save are stored only on your device. We do not store them on our servers.
• No human review: All processing is handled automatically. No employee accesses or views your content unless you explicitly contact our support team for help.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenRouter, Inc. — AI-powered signature generation from the text you provide and, with your consent, one-time cleanup of scanned signature photos. Input is used only for temporary processing and is not retained or reused.
• RevenueCat — Subscription and purchase management. Collects device identifiers and purchase history to manage entitlements.
• Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics. Collects device identifiers and product interaction data.
• Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reporting and diagnostics. Collects crash data and diagnostic information.
• Firebase Remote Config — App configuration delivery. No user data collected.
• AIProxy — Secure AI service routing. Uses an anonymous stable device identifier and collects IP address for security purposes.
• Apple In-App Purchases — Secure transaction handling.

These services process data only to the extent required for their core functions. None of the data collected is linked to your personal identity.

6. Data Retention

• Signatures: Stored only on your device. We do not retain them.
• Text input: Used only for temporary AI processing and not retained by us.
• Scanned photos: Processed on your device; if sent for AI cleanup with your consent, used only for temporary processing and not retained.
• Analytics and diagnostics: Retained in anonymous, aggregated form by third-party providers according to their own retention policies.
• Purchase information: Managed by Apple and RevenueCat under their respective privacy and retention policies.
• No user data is linked to personal identity.

7. Data Security

• All data transmission between your device, our services, and third-party providers is encrypted.
• Processing is fully automated with no human access.
• No employee has access to your content unless you explicitly request support.
• We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. While no system can guarantee 100% security, we continuously work to safeguard your information.

8. Children’s Privacy

Signafy is not designed for children under age 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe data was shared with us in error, please contact us at tunahanaktay.apps@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.

9. International Transfers

Some temporary AI processing and analytics may occur on cloud servers located outside your country. All processing is done under secure, GDPR-compliant infrastructure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
