By downloading, installing, or using the UP⁺ mobile application — formerly Psychpedia (“UP⁺”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) — you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use UP⁺.
You must be at least 4 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use UP⁺. UP⁺ contains general mental-wellness information; it is not intended for use by minors without parental guidance.
We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable, and non-exclusive license to use UP⁺ for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted remain with us and our licensors.
UP⁺ provides original educational content (courses, articles, experiments) along with reviews and summaries of publicly available books, and links to publicly hosted videos from third parties. References to book titles, author names, and other trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
The content of UP⁺ is provided for educational and self-reflection purposes only. It is general psychology and mental-wellness information, not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Subscriptions — UP⁺ offers optional subscription plans that unlock premium content (full-length articles, full course access, deeper experiment summaries, and ad-free content).
In-App Purchases — Subscriptions are sold through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple handles all payments, taxes, and billing.
Renewal & Cancellation — Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
You agree not to:
Use the app in any way that could harm your own or others’ mental or physical health.
Violate any applicable law.
Reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit UP⁺’s technology.
Use bots or scripts to abuse the system.
Reproduce, redistribute, or sell content from UP⁺ (articles, book reviews, courses, summaries) without our permission.
All content in the UP⁺ app that we have authored (logos, code, UI, designs, original articles, course material, and graphics) belongs to UP⁺ or its licensors. You may not use them for commercial purposes without permission. Quotations from public works are included under fair use for educational commentary.
Any feedback or suggestions you provide can be used freely by us without compensation.
Your privacy is important. Please read our Privacy Policy at https://tunimba.github.io/up.github.io-privacypolicy/ to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. It forms part of these Terms.
UP⁺ is not a medical or therapeutic service. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. The app provides general psychology and mindfulness content for educational and self-reflection purposes only. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or have concerns about your wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional or contact local emergency services.
The mood tracking, breathing exercises, meditation guides, and other practices in the app are tools for self-reflection and habit-building, not clinical interventions.
UP⁺ is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the content, exercises, or features will produce any particular emotional, mental, or behavioral outcome. We are not responsible for content loss or damage caused by use or misuse of the app.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, UP⁺ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed 50 EUR.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UP⁺, its affiliates, and staff from any claims or damages arising out of your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
By You — You may stop using UP⁺ at any time by deleting the app.
By Us — We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.
Effect — Certain clauses (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Liability) will survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. You agree to resolve any disputes through the courts of Turkey, unless local consumer protection laws offer you additional rights.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of UP⁺ after the effective date means you accept the changes.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and UP⁺. If any part is found invalid, the rest remains enforceable. You may not transfer these Terms without our permission.
